The Czech pop-jazz saxophonist is performing with leading bands and performers of the Czech show business.
She studied at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague under the supervision of Jaroslav Plaček in her major subject and improvisation with Štěpán Markovič.
After completing her studies, she furthermore attended the International Conservatory under the tuition of Rostislav Fraš.
Specialization: saxophone – Western concert flute, clarinet.
In the years 2006-2014 the artist collaborated with “Cruise Line AIDA Entertainment” – transatlantic liner, travels across continents.
During her studies at the conservatory, the artist participated in the theatre production “Kdekdo to rád horké” in the Kladno City Theatre. She was a longtime member in the band “The Tap Tap” (consisting of exceptional musicians from the Jedlička Institute). The band represented the Czech Republic internationally in Moscow, Israel, Brussels and London. Furthermore “The Tap Tap” has its very own theatre performance called “Nefňuka”, which was directed by Jiří Ornest.
Since 2016 Žaneta Pelcová is a part of the Christmas tour of Vladimír Hron and the Neratovice Big Band and SaxyGirlsLine. On this occasion, a Christmas album with the title “Vánoční hvězdy – Vladimír Hron a hosté” was recorded. (Frequent Christmas tours)
In the same year, she was engaged in the band of Aneta Langerová and took part in concerts in “Gong” (Ostrava), “Sono” (Brno) and “Forum” (Prague). A CD and DVD was made from the live broadcast and named “Na vlně Radosti”.
In 2017 the artist toured with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra (ČNSO) and Priscilla Presley within the “Elvis Presley Live on Screen” show.
Concert halls and clubs in Prague: “Lucerna Music Bar”, the big hall of “Lucerna”, “Reduta”, “JazzDock”, “Club U Staré paní”, “Buddha Bar”, “Forum Karlín”, “Congress Center Prague” and others.
Saxophone – playing (solo) on private events, weddings, birthday parties and balls with backing tracks.
